Raising a Generation of Servant-Leaders
The Stewards Leadership Summit 2K25, organized by Stewards of Nations, was held from October 19–21, 2025, at the Ashirwad Global Learning Centre, Ghatkesar. This three-day summit gathered 40 emerging leaders — including youth leaders, small group mentors, and ministry volunteers — under the theme “Equip. Inspire. Multiply.”
The event aimed to equip and inspire participants to grow in accountability, stewardship, discipleship, leadership, and generosity, helping them become catalysts for transformation in their churches and communities.
A Spirit-Filled Beginning
The summit opened with vibrant worship led by The Chosen Ones Group, setting a joyful and unified tone.
Pastor Swamy Das led the opening devotion, “Inspired to Equip,” based on 2 Timothy 3:16–17, reminding everyone that godly leadership is about humility, character, and service — not power or position.
Mr. Peter Wiig then shared on “Accountability in Ministry,” emphasizing that accountability develops character and trust, forming the backbone of Christian leadership.
Equipping Leaders through the Word
On the second day, participants were encouraged through devotions, teachings, and small-group learning.
Pastor Swamy Das shared “Equip” from 1 Peter 2:21, reminding leaders to rely on the Spirit, Word, and community for transformation.
Bro. Gan introduced Biblical study tools such as the Gospel Lens and Five-Chapter Gospel framework for understanding Scripture in daily life.
Dr. Samson Gandhi spoke on “The Spiritual Growth of a Servant of God,” emphasizing solitude, silence, and prayer as essential disciplines for leaders.
Dr. Chaitanya Hepsibah unpacked “Biblical Stewardship,” calling leaders to manage God’s resources faithfully for eternal purposes.
Mr. Prem Das shared on “Discipleship and Disciple-Making,” highlighting multiplication through intentional mentoring based on 2 Timothy 2:2.
The day ended with small-group prayer and fellowship, fostering unity and deeper relationships among participants.
Servant Leadership in Action
Day 3 began with a powerful devotion titled “Multiply,” led by Pastor Swamy and Smitha Das. In a moving act of humility, they washed the participants’ feet — mirroring Christ’s example in John 13 — and called everyone to serve with love and compassion.
The final sessions, led by Dr. Eappen John, focused on Generosity.
Through three rich sessions, participants learned that:
- God is the ultimate giver — and true generosity flows from love, not duty.
- Giving is an act of faith, not abundance.
Earthly wealth fades, but investing in God’s Kingdom has eternal value.
Dr. Eappen shared stories like “A Handful of Rice” from Mizoram and Chuck Feeney’s life, inspiring everyone to live with open hands and generous hearts.
Impact and Transformation
The summit made a measurable and lasting impact:
- 40 emerging leaders trained and equipped
- 2 new small groups formed post-summit for discipleship.
- Participants embracing spiritual disciplines like prayer, solitude, and generosity.
- New commitments to mentor others and live as servant-leaders in homes, workplaces, and churches.
Transformation stories are already emerging as leaders begin mentoring others and applying biblical principles in daily life.
